* CIBC to change Renaissance funds’ names. CIBC Asset Management announced on April 3 fund name changes for Renaissance Private Pools. Effective April 3, 2023, each of the Renaissance Private Pools will be renamed as CIBC Private Pools as follows:

* Counsel to merge to funds. Counsel Portfolio Services on March 22 announced the proposed merger of two of its mutual funds: IPC Essentials Equity Portfolio will merge into IPC Essentials Growth Portfolio and IPC Essentials ESG Balanced Portfolio will merge into IPC Essentials Balanced Portfolio. The mergers will take effect on or about June 16, subject to approvals.

* TD launches ESG-focus bond fund. TD Asset Management on March 9 debuted its TD North American Sustainability Bond Fund, designed to earn current income by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of North American fixed income securities, while following a socially responsible approach to investing.

* RBC launches new ETF Series. RBC iShares on March 8 announced an initial suite of eight ETF Series of RBC Funds to expand its existing ETF product lineup. The new ETF Series began trading on the NEO Exchange on March 8.
