AGF Investments Inc. announced on Jan. 8 the launch of ETF series units for two of its mutual funds.
AGF American Growth Fund (TSX: AMGR) is an actively managed high-conviction portfolio focused on identifying innovative U.S. companies with exceptional corporate leadership and strong growth prospects across market cycles. The fund uses a core portfolio holding to participate in the growth potential of U.S. equites and a bottom-up growth investment style that looks for companies with above-average earnings and/or revenue growth, relative to their historical earnings, the industry or overall market, and can sustain their competitive position.
AGF Global Select Fund (TSX: AGSL) offers concentrated exposure to global equities focusing on innovation to identify companies that exhibit exceptional product development and corporate leadership. The fund uses a core portfolio holding to participate in the growth potential of global equities and a bottom-up earnings growth momentum investment style, looking at company’s revenue, earnings, profitability, earnings quality, growth potential, as well as industry and country strength.
NEI Investments on Jan. 7 announced a proposed merger of its NEI Global Growth Fund into NEI Global Equity RS Fund. This change is subject to the approval of applicable unitholders at a meeting to be held on or about March 25, 2026.
The Securities and Investment Management Association (SIMA) on Dec. 18 announced investment fund net sales and net assets for November 2025.
Mutual fund assets totalled $2.543 trillion at the end of November, up by $23.0 billion, or 0.9%, since October. Mutual fund net sales were $5.4 billion in November.
ETF assets totalled $700.0 billion at the end of November, up by $17.3 billion, or 2.5%, since October. ETF net sales were $12.9 billion in November.

Desjardins Investments Inc. on Dec. 9 announced the termination of three of its equity funds effective on or about close of business on March 27.
Unitholders will have the right to redeem or exchange their units of the terminated funds until the close of business on the termination date. All unitholders concerned will receive a notification at least 60 days prior to the termination date.
In anticipation of these changes, the terminated funds will be closed to any new investors or additional investments, with the exception of regular, prescheduled investments, after close of business on January 14.
Global X Investments Canada Inc. announced on Dec. 5 that it will be terminating three of its exchange traded funds effective at the close of business on or about February 17, 2026:
No further direct subscriptions for securities of the ETFs are accepted. The ETFs are expected to be delisted at the close of business on or about February 10, with all securities still held by investors being subject to a mandatory redemption as of the termination date.
Any remaining securityholders of an ETF as at the termination date will receive the net proceeds from the liquidation of the assets, less all liabilities and all expenses incurred in connection with the dissolution of the ETF, on a pro rata basis.
