Investment Objectives

Vanguard FTSE Canadian Capped REIT Index ETF seeks to track, to the extent reasonably possible and before fees and expenses, the performance of a broad Canadian real estate equity index that measures the investment return of publicly traded securities in the Canadian real estate sector. Currently, this Vanguard ETF seeks to track the FTSE Canada All Cap Real Estate Capped 25% Index (or any successor thereto).

Investment Strategy

In order to achieve its investment objective, Vanguard FTSE Canadian Capped REIT Index ETF employs a "passive management" - or indexing - investment approach designed to track the performance of the FTSE Canada All Cap Real Estate Capped 25% Index. This Vanguard ETF invests all, or substantially all, of its assets in the stocks that make up the applicable Index, holding each stock in approximately the same proportion as its weighting in the Index.
